Calming a cat made easy!

NATURE’S MIRACLE™ JUST FOR CATS ™ Calming Spray works to reduce anxiety and keep your cat calm in stressful situations such as a change to a daily routine, separation, or travel. The concentrated, long-lasting, and non-sedating formula contains soothing scents that can promote relaxation and reduce hyperactivity. Nature’s Miracle Just for Cats Calming Spray is safe to use and is a non-sedation alternative for keeping your cat feeling safe and calm.

Every pet learns differently. For this reason, it is important to consider your pet’s learning style when choosing a training method. Your pet may react differently to Nature’s Miracle Training Aids. For the best possible results, follow the tips and directions below.

Cats often experience anxiety during periods of change, car rides, and trips to the veterinarian. Adding a few simple steps to your routine can greatly reduce the stress and anxiety experienced by your pet.

On car rides:
1.)Before placing your cat in a crate, allow your cat some time to get acclimated to the crate. You can accomplish this by placing the crate in an area they frequent, by placing items they find comforting such as toys and blankets in the crate, by playing with them in and around the crate, and by allowing them to go in and out as they please. Before a trip, spray a blanket or pillow with Nature’s Miracle Cat Calming Spray and place it in the crate. Never use the crate as punishment and be sure to help your cat associate the crate with positive interactions.

2.)In the week or so leading up to a long trip, take your cat on shorter car rides to help him get acclimated to a moving car. Even a short 5 minute trip around the block can help to ease some initial anxiety.

3.)When in the car, do not allow your cat free-reign. Not only is this more stressful for the cat as they lack the security of a crate, but it is a potentially dangerous distraction to the driver.

On Trips to the Vet:
1.) Follow the tips above for getting your cat ready for a car ride. Ensure that their crate is considered a safe place, and spray a blanket or comfort item with Nature’s Miracle Cat Calming Spray.
2.) If possible, schedule your trip during the least busy time of the day. Call your veterinarian to ask when this might be. Ask if your vet has a cat-specific entrance or waiting area.
3.) Keep your cat in the crate when not being examined by the veterinarian. This will create less stress for your cat and will protect you and others from being scratched if your cat panics.
4.) Establish a good rapport with your veterinarian. Asking your vet to spend a few minutes before the appointment to meet and interact with your cat can greatly reduce their anxiety.
5.)Provide your cat with a comforting item if they are staying overnight.
